Fancy & Babs

A New Chapter at The Stables at McCoy Meadow
At New Hope Community, the animals in our equestrian program bring joy, offer healing, build confidence, and create connection. And none of it happens without you.

You Gave Dandy a Life of Love and Purpose
Dandy, our beloved miniature horse, passed away in 2024, shortly after celebrating his 21st birthday. Dandy spent his life doing what he did best— bringing happiness and comfort to everyone he met.

You made it possible for him to help people overcome their fear of horses, shine in horse shows, and light up the room during celebrations. His gentle presence changed lives.

You Opened the Barn Doors to Fancy and Babs
When Fancy and Babs needed a home after their owner passed away, you made sure they found one together. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to act quickly and welcome them to New Hope.

Now, these two playful miniature horses are settling in. Because of you, they have a second chance, a new beginning, and a life of purpose.

Your support powers our equestrian program, providing care not just for animals like Dandy, Fancy, and Babs, but for the people who grow through their presence. From therapeutic riding to Special Olympics events, your support builds confidence, connection, and new experiences every single day.

You Empower Lives

Meet Jessica

Jessica has been a part of the Hope Farm community for many years. Yet, her experience was often limited to the more accessible areas of the farm that were easier for her to navigate.

This past summer, a moment of transformation occurred.

For the first time, Jessica used a Trackchair and ventured to the bottom of the farm— a place she had never been able to explore safely with her own wheelchair.

As she navigated the previously unreachable terrain, Jessica’s face lit up with pure joy and accomplishment. She picked a vibrant bouquet of flowers, a simple yet profound act that symbolized her newfound freedom and connection with the farm.

This Trackchair was purchased with donations. We are securing two new Trackchairs through an Empire State Development Grant. Often, we have up to three people who can only navigate the Farm using a Trackchair; only having one Trackchair has been a limitation. With three, every person who wants access will have access!

New Hope Knights Buffalo Bowl

Twice the Heart. Twice the Drive. And You Made It Possible.
In 2024, the New Hope Knights took the field at the Special Olympics New York Buffalo Bowl with one goal: to play their hearts out. And they did just that.

The team showed the world what can happen when passion, teamwork, and inclusion come together. They didn’t just compete; they inspired. They left everything on the field and walked away proud.

Now, a new chapter begins.
In June 2025, the Knights are going back to Buffalo. Because of the incredible growth of the program and the dedication of our athletes, we’re sending two full teams to compete. That’s twice the power, twice the spirit, and twice the opportunity for our athletes to shine on a statewide stage.

For these players, the Buffalo Bowl is a chance to be seen for their abilities, to celebrate who they are, and to be part of something bigger than themselves. It’s about belonging. It’s about pride. It’s every athlete deserving a shot at greatness.

And it’s happening because of you.
From uniforms to transportation and meals to coaching, you’ve helped build something that goes far beyond the scoreboard. You’ve helped create a community where every player feels supported, embraced, and valued.

The Knights are ready. Their hearts are full. And thanks to your belief in them, they’re stepping onto the field again…stronger, prouder, and more united than ever.
