Your Impact at New Hope Community
Your 2025 donations strengthened programs, spaces, and experiences across New Hope Community. You supported initiatives that bring New Hope Community’s mission to life by expanding access, enriching experiences, and strengthening opportunities for choice, independence, and personal growth.
Pop-up Camp
With support from our giving community, Jeremy was able to body surf the Endless Summer FlowRider at the Kartrite Indoor Waterpark. He felt the wave beneath him, the wind on his face, and the freedom of the moment, surrounded by the cheers of friends and staff who were just as thrilled to witness it. That one ride became a memory he’ll hold onto for a lifetime.
And he’s not alone. More than 200 people participated in Pop-up Camp 2025.
Because of you, Luisa got to trail ride with her favorite horse. Greg spent time casting his line at an accessible fishing event. Josh made a splash and swam again. Because of you, hundreds of people supported by New Hope Community are creating moments like these, memories built on belonging, achievement, and excitement.
You turned “I wish I could” into “I did.”
You created access, confidence, connection, and lasting memories.
New Hope Knights – Buffalo Bowl 2025
In 2025, two New Hope Knights teams proudly competed in the New York State Special Olympics Buffalo Bowl Championship Game. Your support helped ensure athletes had the opportunity to train, travel, and represent New Hope Community on a statewide stage. The experience fostered teamwork, determination, pride, and a deep sense of belonging, all moments that athletes and families will carry with them long after the final whistle.
DSP Week
You supported DSP Week, honoring the Direct Support Professionals who build trust, consistency, and connection every day. Through celebrations, shared moments across teams, and meaningful prizes, this investment recognized the people who make quality support possible, strengthening morale, retention, and the relationships at the heart of New Hope Community.
Staff Food Pantry
Your generosity helped establish and sustain the New Hope Community Staff Food Pantry, providing accessible food support for employees facing food insecurity. This resource offered a discreet, supportive option for staff to care for themselves and their families. By helping meet basic needs, you strengthened stability, well-being, and the workforce that shows up every day for the people we support.
Bocce Ball Court
Your support helped fund the purchase of a bocce court, expanding recreational opportunities and providing the New Hope Knights with a dedicated practice space as they prepare to represent New Hope Community at the 2026 Special Olympics Bocce Nationals. This ensures athletes can train with intention, consistency, and pride.
Hope Farm Shed and Lift
With your support, we were able to fund critical upgrades at Hope Farm, including a new shed and a Hoyer Lift to support use of our Trackchairs. These improvements strengthen daily operations and expanded accessibility, allowing more people to participate safely and independently in meaningful farm-based activities.
SHS Division Select Connects
Your support introduced new community opportunities and recreational outings for our Select Connects and R&R program participants. These outings create experiences where people can connect, grow, and fully participate in the community.
Light Therapy Pilot Program
Launching a pilot that supports people who experience seasonal depression through therapeutic light technology, helping improve mood, wellbeing, and readiness to participate in programs and daily activities.
Annual Community Outreach Dinner
Your support helped provide 540 meals to families in need throughout Sullivan County during the holiday season. This annual outreach effort extended New Hope Community’s impact beyond its campus, offering nourishment, connection, and care during a time of heightened need.
Intro to Archery, coming in 2026
Bringing a new recreational opportunity to New Hope through an introductory archery experience, expanding choice, building confidence, and creating another way for people to try something new and discover what they enjoy. These introductory experiences can become permanent choices.
